Day 1, The Master Cleanse.

Doing this slowly seems like a good idea. Day 1 consists of only fruits and veggies, no sugar in the coffee and acquiring the rest of my cleanse ingredients. I’m a fairly big meat consumer and this is going to be quite the endeavour. Tomorrow is full fledged cleanse mode. Getting my tummy acclimated seems like a reasonable idea.

Tomorrow I’m going to start The Master Cleanse. I’ve never tried it, but I’m really very interested in getting rid of the ‘toxins’ inside my body, not so much the weight loss, but I’ve heard most of your weight comes right back anyway so I’m not too worried. Should be interesting. Anyone ever have luck with it? I feel like I might get hungry…we shall see.

On Saturday, I went to the Comedy Cellar in New York city, anyway, I was thinking about how laughing is a drug of sorts. Laughter releases endorphins, neurotransmitters that have pain-relieving properties similar to morphine and are probably connected to euphoric feelings, appetite modulation, and the release of sex hormones (7).

Laughing feels good. Good old fashioned belly laughing. If you’re not having fun, find funnier friends.
